Get Stuffed and Girl Next Door were almost always played as one song in the Eaters set, and generally get good treatment here. Get Stuffed suffers a bit from an odd percussion sound, while Girl Next Door (with cleaned up lyrics) could have very closely approximated the /5(9). Reply

Nervous Eaters Format: Vinyl. "Get Stuffed" another older Eater song sounds the same to me,once again just polished. "Girl Next Store",raucous and catchy! Seriously where was the radio play on this Lp. Elektra Records should be ashamed of the poor promotion they gave this! As a long time Eaters fan at that time the LP originally came /5(8). Reply

NERVOUS EATERS is a very good record on its own. That producer Harry Maslin did not know what to do with the band is an understatement. "By Yourself," the second track on their debut, is exquisite pop/rock by a band that wrote a classic underground riff rock . Reply
